Girls Day to Dallas

Went to Joy's Macarons and this place is seriously so adorable, even though I don't eat Macarons :)
In all honesty this week has been very rough.  I haven't talked about it on here, but my Grandfather was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer.  My mom is currently down in San Antonio and everything/everyone has been very gloomy lately.  But a few days ago some of my friends and me went to Dallas, and it was the highlight of my week!
To start off the day my friends and I went to Joy Macarons to check out this cute bakery that has had all the hype lately.  The store has a large inventory of macarons to choose from, but overall is just an adorable place.

I didn't eat them, but they sure are pretty!
After my friends were content on their treats we walked around the Greenville, if you have ever been to Austin Greenville is similar to dirty 6th!  We all had never been into Trader Joes, so we found ourselves in the isles of the store.  They have a lot of vegan foods, so you will definitely find me trolling around!
Vegan s'mores section!
We all got super hungry and went to the first restaurant we came across, and it was seriously so good!  It is called BBBop and is a Korean restaurant, in my opinion it was like a Korean Chipotle.  I built my own rice and veggie bowl!
Definitely going back very soon :)
After eating we drove over to the DMA, Dallas Museum of Arts.  I don't usually go to museums, but it was free and ended up being pretty cool.  This may be weird but I was very drawn to the abstract art.  I am no art expert but to me the weird shape paintings are my favorite.
This one made no sense to me, but I loved it.
We all had a good time and a lot of good laughs while I "analyzed" the artwork.  Once we were finished we walked across the street and got some popsicles and enjoyed the view.  Of course we didn't leave without taking a cliche picture outside the popular museum wall!
After a good day we headed back to my house and talked for another hour before I had to leave for work.  It was an amazing day and can't wait for another one with these cool pals!
