Yesterday was by far an amazing day. My friends Paige, Catherine, and I went to this cool place called Turner Falls. The fact that my parents actually let me go was already cool enough, but then this hyped up park was actually worth it!
We hit the road at 11:30 am, Paige in the driver's seat, me in the passenger, and Cat in the back (her rightful place). This was the first time in a while that we were all able to hang out and we had been planning this date for a straight week. We began the trip as anyone should: windows down with the music blaring.
The overall drive from Dallas is supposed to be around 2 hours, but half way through the drive we had a traffic scare. Spontaneously Paige took a random exit and we bypassed all the traffic, SAVING US 45 MINUTES! Paige really was the hero.
Anyways, we finally arrived a Turner Falls and it was seriously beautiful.

Turner Falls had so much to do, and we started off at the waterfall and swam a little. It was so nice just hanging out with them, we caught up and tried to come up with a solid 18th birthday party plan - right now we are probably robbing a bank or something.
Once we were done with that area we hiked into this random cave and I felt so adventurous. The way to get to the cave was a little scary because the path became very narrow. When we finally got up into the cave we had a nice view of the waterfall, but then a hornet appeared and it was time to go.

We headed over to the slide area and had a good time sliding with a bunch of kids and rating peoples dives. It was getting close to 5 pm so we grabbed a quick snow cone then hit the road.
Once we got home we quickly showered and continued the night at Brio, finding a way to get a cheap meal at an expensive restaurant.
Yesterday was a day/night to remember and I can't wait to have more fun nights before we leave for college!
