Marisa's Wedding
This past weekend I had the pleasure of standing next to my cousin Marisa as she married her new husband Phil! I had not been home in 2 months therefore this was such an amazing reason to come back.
I went back to Dallas with my cousin Christina, we sped home to get to the rehearsal and dinner on time. I wore this black dress with my new heels, thats not really important I just really like my outfit. Anyways, we ate at this really good restaurant and it was cool meeting Phil's side of the family.
The ceremony was held at St. Anns Catholic Church, the same church that Amy got married in. It was my first catholic wedding and hopefully it will not be my last...if you know what I mean. ;)
I teared up 4 times its fine.
After the ceremony the wedding party took pictures in the courtyard, I can't wait to finally see them!
A few hours later the reception started, which was held at the Adolfus, and thats where the real fun began. The vegan meal I got was actually really good. It was a mix of veggies and a huge cauliflower with this really good sauce. After eating the music started and I went crazy, along with the rest of the guests. Everyone was dancing and it was so much good fun!
This was the first time I ever got my makeup done, 10/10 recommend it. |
These were the matching PJ's Marisa got all the bridesmaids |
The Adolfus is by far the nicest hotel I have been to. They all have balconies and are huge! |
Most amazing wedding speech |
It was such a beautiful weekend. It reminded me to be hopeful and that there is someone out there for everyone. Watching Phil's face as Marisa walked down the isle filled me with such joy and love that I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me and my friends. Being home was also nice, mainly because I got to drive...haha!
