When your BEST FRIEND comes to town>

A few days before Thanksgiving break began my best friend from home came to visit me.  She had just gotten home from Mizzou, who luckily has a full week off for break, and we had been really upset about how I wouldn't get to see her until Christmas break.  So she got permission from T-dawg (her dad) and drove down to San Antonio.
When Cat got here we got dressed and headed out to this restaurant called Mi Tierra.  Mi Tierra is an adorable restaurant to go to in San Antonio, it has decorations everywhere and Mariachi bands playing music constantly.  Side note: Cat got enchiladas and I couldn't be more proud :').
Dinner was amazing and we talked about everything.  Catherine is one of the few people I actually tell everything to.  She doesn't judge me and listens while I talk.  She always helps me figure out what to do, so this dinner meant so much to me.
After we finished eating we went to this American Eagle party that my cousin got us in to.  Everything was 40% off in the entire store! Cat and I ended up getting the same top but its fine, I don't mind twinning with my best friend.
The next day I introduced her to one of my friends and took her to my second home...Taco Palenque. After eating I took her to the Pearl District, which is one of my favorite places to go to in San Antonio.  I finally had my camera so I took some pictures of her, like old times, and we walked along the river.  My camera skills are a little RUSTY so it was fun to get back into it.
For dinner we drove downtown and ate along the riverwalk.  It took us a very long time to find a spot to park but we had some killer Italian food.  It was pretty pricey so we split the check...sorry waiter that had us.
At Paesanos :)
We were feeling like having a spooky time so we called my cousin Christina and drove 30 minutes out to the haunted train tracks in San Antonio!  The story is that around 1930-1940 there were about 30 kids on a bus.  The bus stalled on the tracks and the bus driver didn't hear or see the train coming and the bus got hit.  To get over the tracks there is a small hill, and incline, and what people do is put there car in neutral and wait for their car to get pushed over the hill.  A lot of people have gone to the tracks and put baby powder on the back of their car and have seen little tiny hand prints!  So we went and did this, put baby powder on the car, and waited to be pushed up the hill.  IT HAPPENED!  We didn't see any handprint but we were also driving a white car...anyways the area it is in is already really creepy, and it was pitch black.  There is not a lot of life going on around the train tracks so it was really sketchy.
Before we left and got haunted by the train track ghosts
Tuesday morning both Cat and I drove home to Coppell together.  I wasn't going to go home originally but I missed Cat and my parents were going to drive to San Antonio the next morning...so I just hitched a ride with them.  The drive home was a long one but was so much fun.  We jammed out to throwback songs and Taylor Swift.  We stopped at a CVS and picked up some road trip food.
Hanging out with Cat was the highlight of my week and I can't wait to see the rest of my friends over break!
