4/7 Goodbyes: Dear Melissa
Dear
Melissa,
Oh
Melissa, where do I begin? I have so
many things to say and so many things that I have already said.
I
have watched you grow so much in the years that we have been friends. You went from being this girl that did
whatever people told her to, to this woman that only does what she wants. You’ve become stubborn, stern, driven, and so
much more. In the months of being a
senior is where I saw a majority of your changes. Senior year you made All State, got into your
dream school, and even got a boyfriend.
You started to have your own thoughts and views on the world. You went through hardships with your faith,
but also made it stronger. I can’t even
imagine how much you will grow going to your dream school with a major you are
passionate about. Getting away from home
is going to do wonders for you!
Thank
you so much for your friendship over the years, you were there for me in a time
that I needed you the most. When we
became friends I was at an all time low with my faith, you convinced me to go
to small group and the fall retreat. You
really did save me in a way. You weren’t
only there in the time that I need you the most, but also just to help support
me and my views on our religion. I loved
getting closer with you this year. From;
Ulta runs, to choir, to waking up early to spend time with children. It was so much fun! I only wish that we had been that close
through all our years, but we still have so much time to continue.
I
can’t wait for you to come and visit me for TMEA! It will be so much fun! I'm going to have something fun planned for
us to do that weekend. We can go
clubbing, visit SA hotspots (ULTA), and just chill in my dorm room.
Melissa
you have to stay in touch with me! I
have a lot of practice with long distance so I am not too nervous, but just
remember that it is a two way street.
Seriously
though, you are going to do great at TCU.
You will meet someone amazing and do great things! If you ever need anything, I will be there to
help you out! Even if you are nervous to
ask for advice on something, I promise that I will be there for you!
Love
you pal! Until the Carnival!
