7/7 Goodbyes: Dear Mom and Dad

Decided to save the most important for last
Dear Mom,
Thank you for being the best mother anyone could ask for.  You have never failed to be there for me.  You have always been able to tell when I am feeling sad, even when I am trying my best to pretend like I am okay.  I don't even know where to begin in thanking you.
Thank you for picking out my outfits when I was a little girl, and then later supporting me in what ever fashion stage I was going through at the time.
Thank you for always knowing what to say when I needed advice on anything.  You seriously always knew what was the right answer.  From issues with friends to boys.  From mean girls to nice girls.  You just always knew what to say.
Thank you for pushing me into my Catholic faith, I know that I get annoyed sometimes...but what you do really means a lot.  You have helped me create a relationship with the lord, whom has guided me through many different trails in my life.
Thank you for making me feel beautiful.  You made me realize that it doesn't matter if I'm a size 0, 2 or 4 in clothing.  Thank you for taking me shopping and always having fun with me!
Dear Dad,
Thank you for being the best father in the whole world.  You have always been so selfless in everything that you do for me.  Thank you for always taking my friends and I places, and without ever complaining or showing annoyance.
Thank you for teaching me how to stick to my commitments.  There are so many people that leave for something "better" or it gets too hard, but you taught me that a commitment is a commitment.
Thank you for teaching me how to be a hard worker and studier.  Thank you for telling me that it's okay if I'm not the smartest person in the room, because I never will be, but that I can always be the hardest worker.  Teaching me that hard work will take you 90% of the way to any goal.  It is because of you that I believe that I have what it takes to become a doctor, even if medical school is insanely hard to get into.  The way you went from being a poor kid, to top 10 people in your class, to graduating from Boston University, inspires me everyday.
Thank you for being so into Halloween decorating, I have so many stories to tell people when Halloween comes around!  Please don't stop decorating, let me come home a weekend around Halloween so I can see it and we can go to a haunted house together!
Dear Mom and Dad,
Thank you for giving me the best childhood ever.  You guys took me every place you knew I would have a good time at.  Every summer growing up you would take me to the family beach trip, thank you so much for that.  To this day the beach holds some of my favorite memories; from crab hunting, to boogie boarding, to mom forgetting to put film in the camera.  You guys made me feel beautiful, even when I wouldn't take the compliment most of the time, you guys still helped mold my confidence.  You guys have been so supportive in my dream to become a doctor, helping me to always remember what my end goal is.  Thank you guys for being so strict on me growing up, and still even today.  Due to your strictness I am happy to say that I am not like a lot of people I know, I have strong morals and know how to say NO.  Thank you for making me feel like the luckiest daughter in the world, both of you guys have shown me so much love and devotion.  Some people don't get to say that they have a parent that love them like you guys, much less two parents.  Thank you for taking me outside to build snowmen (the few times it snowed), thank you for taking me to sea world, the zoo.  Thank you for always making a big deal of my birthday when I was growing up.
I don't have enough minutes in the day to be able to thank you for everything you both do for me.  But most of all thank you guys for showing me how to love, and giving me an example of a successful relationship.  Yalls love story will forever be my favorite, showing up every romance novel I have read.
Thank you for everything, I love you guys so much.  I can't wait to show you everything I can do in college and make you guys proud.
